Another View Editing

Getting your book edited can seem like a daunting prospect. How do you find an Editor that will give you what you need? Can you trust that they have the best interests of both you and your book at heart?

When you bring your manuscript to Another View Editing, you are getting personal attention and feedback from someone whose main desire is to make your book the best it can be. I completely understand that your book needs to remain your book. I also know that you have put a lot of time, effort, and heart into it. It is for that very reason that I want to push you to make it the strongest possible representation of your talents.

My most comfortable genres would be Fantasy, Paranormal, YA, and General Fiction (and a touch of Romance/Erotica too), though I feel there is something I can bring to a number of other genres too. (Excepting horror. Sorry. I will be no help at all to you there!) So if you have a manuscript in a different genre and would like to discuss it with me, I would be more than happy to let you know if I feel it is something I could do justice to. (And conversely, I will tell you if I am not right for your book as well.)

No one Editor is right for every Author. I will state right now that I am not the sort of editor who will pick out every good thing you have done and highlight it. That said, I try to be tactful with my suggestions or changes and respect both you and your work.

If you book an edit with me and we set a deadline, you will have your manuscript returned by the deadline. I hate being late for anything and returning your manuscript is no different.
